About us
WOMEN OF CHANGE was established in 2010 by Mother Heidy Paye and some potential women who saw the need for women involvement in the development of our dear Country Liberia and engage in projects that affects the ordinary Liberian Life.
During Liberia’s protracted civil conflict women and children were the most vulnerable groups young girls were raped and used as house wives for soldiers and denied access to better Life While children were either conscripted as child soldiers, used as force laborers, raped and denied access to education for over fifteen unbroken years.
Realizing all these impediments it was against this background Mother Heidy Paye and potential women with similar vision organized the WOMEN OF CHANGE to address these confronting situation.
Women of Change is registered under the Government of Liberia and operates as a Social Non-Political organization whose works are in the areas of women and child development.
Our Mission
To empower women, youths and children in poorest and most disadvantaged communities become efficient and sustain their livelihood.
Our vision
We envision seeing women and children living in transformed world; were they can have food on their table, go to school and live in a happy environment. A society where Justice and the right to live play and grow exists for our Children, A community where violence against women is less and gender equity is paramount.......
